Physicians and Providers:
On Wednesday, August 8, Baptist Hospitals will launch the first hospital-affiliated High-Risk Breast Clinic in our region. The breast clinic will be located within our Dauphin Women’s Center, under the auspices of Dr. Raleigh Johnson and Nikki Vannoy, NP. This clinic will be focused on the early detection of breast cancer and other associated diseases and conditions.
This breast clinic is being established to provide close observation of patients with a history of having had an abnormal mammogram or breast ultrasound, or who have previously undergone a breast biopsy or surgery for benign breast disease. The breast clinic will also serve as a resource for the routine diagnostic management of patients with a suspicious finding on clinical exam.
The Dauphin Women’s Center is dual-accredited by the American College of Surgeons as a comprehensive breast center through the Commission on Cancer and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, and is accredited as a Women’s Imaging Center of Excellence through the American College of Radiology.
The High-Risk Breast Clinic is located at 740 Hospital Drive in Suite 140. Should you have any questions, or to schedule a consultation or referral, please contact Stephanie Vaughan, RN at 409-212-5950, or at stephanie.vaughan@bhset.net.
Respectfully,
David N. Parmer, CEO
