Rehabilitation Services
Providing the Beaumont Community with Stable Recovery
When working with a chronic condition or to repair acute trauma, it’s helpful to have a team on your side committed to your recovery. Rehabilitation services at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas include a 15-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation facility designed to accommodate specific patient populations appropriate for general physical medicine and a fully functional outpatient center. Age range for patients accepted is sixteen years and above.
This inpatient program is designed to treat patients whose primary diagnosis include:
- Stroke
- Spinal cord injury
- Congenital deformities
- Amputation
- Total joint replacement
- Polyarthritis
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Burns
- Multiple trauma
- Fracture
- Brain injury
- Neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis, polyneuropathy, muscular dystrophy, and Parkinson’s Disease
Rehabilitation Services are provided by Psychiatrists, Physical Therapist, Rehab Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists.
Baptist Beaumont Hospital’s Rehabilitation facility includes:
- Personal 1 to 1 therapists (PT, OT, Speech Therapy)
- Renovated 15-bed rehabilitation unit
- 14 private rooms
