With over 15 years of experience in neonatology, Dr. Snehal Doshi is the CEO and Managing Partner of Millennium Medical Group, an independent, multi-state practice that operates NICUs and OB/GYN Hospitalists across the Southern United States. He received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship with UTMB. He is a board-certified neonatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, with a passion for delivering quality care and improving outcomes for newborns and their families.

Dr. Cousins is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the NICU at Baptist Hospital. Lindsay has been providing care for babies at Baptist Hospital since 2020 and in Southeast Texas since 2012. She began her nursing career at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas NICU and advanced her nursing career by becoming a charge nurse, new-employee and student preceptor. Dr. Cousins completed her Neonatal Nurse Practitioner clinical training in level III - IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Texas Children’s (Main and Woodlands campuses) and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospitals in Houston, TX. Dr. Cousins also completed a DNP project which focused on Safe Sleep Practices in the Newborn Nursery and NICU, and was able to assist in the development and application of a Safe Sleep Protocol at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas and Baptist Hospital. In addition to providing care as an NNP, Dr Cousins is an Adjunct Faculty member at Lamar University JoAnne Gay Dishman School of Nursing in Beaumont, TX. She is able to offer bedside training to nursing students at Baptist Hospital in departments across the hospital, but specializes in Maternal/Child Health.

Born in Louisiana and raised in Southeast Texas, Lindsay is an alumni of Nederland High School. She and her husband, Adam, have two sons (Maksim and Luca) and daughter (Aniston) who keep them running all over Southeast Texas for extracurricular activities. Lindsay is also a life-long lover of dance and was a devoted dance instructor from 2002 - 2020. Dr. Cousins has always had a passion for both Maternal/Neonatal Health and education. She has been able to share her love of the neonatal population with fellow nursing staff and the upcoming nurses of the future. Dr. Cousins takes pride in the relationships she builds with her NICU families and enjoys watching the tiniest patients grow, develop, and make their way home to loving families.

Mrs Hammermeister is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner that has been with the Baptist Neonatal Intensive Care Unit since 2014. She began her neonatal nursing career as a bedside nurse in the NICU and then quickly became a dedicated charge nurse, new employee preceptor, and briefly served as the NICU Clinical Coordinator prior to becoming an NNP. In addition to her experience at Baptist Hospital, Mindy also worked in the level IV NICU at Children’s Memorial Hermann in Houston, TX. Her Neonatal Nurse Practitioner clinical training was completed at the level III NICU at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and the level IV NICU at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX.

Mindy is native to Southeast Texas and an alumni of Buna High School. She and her husband Cody raise their daughter, Reece, along with two Australian shepherds, swine, and cattle on their family farm. When she isn’t saving tiny lives or taking care of animals she enjoys reading and watching her daughter participate in competitive cheer as well as showing animals with 4 H. Mindy chose to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to better advocate for the tiniest of patients. She loves developing relationships with the families of her tiny patients and seeing all that they accomplish beyond their NICU stay.

Mrs Kirchhoff is the lead Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and has been part of the Baptist family since 2004. She began her nursing career in Galveston, Texas at UTMB as a RN in their level IV NICU and Pediatric ER. After leaving UTMB and moving to southeast Texas Mrs. Kirchhoff joined the Baptist family as a charge nurse in the Children’s unit and then moved into the role of Director of Children’s Services. While pursuing her Masters degree she stepped down from the director position and returned to bedside nursing at Baptist working at the cancer center, pediatric emergency department, and NICU. She returned to the level IV NICU at UTMB in Galveston, TX to complete her Neonatal Nurse Practitioner clinical training. Throughout her nursing career she has gained experience not only working at local hospitals but also at UTMB, Texas Children’s Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and UT Tyler Health.

A native of the beautiful mountains of Tennessee, Jerri moved to Texas with her mother as a teenager and is an alumni of High Island High School in High Island, TX. She has become deeply rooted in Southeast Texas where she met her husband Glynn and currently resides. Jerri is the mother of one son (Tyler) and 3 daughters (Reagan, Amelia and Keaton), all who she adores and loves spending time with. When she isn’t taking care of the tiniest patients she enjoys reading and going places with her kids. Working as an NNP is her dream job. She loves being able to help the sickest, smallest and most fragile lives thrive while teaching the next generation of nurses.
